1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They serve a variety of purposes: some are essential for the website to function correctly, others remember your preferences, and some are used to track your browsing behaviour across sites for advertising purposes.
The UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) require us to tell you what cookies we use and to obtain your consent before storing any non-essential cookies on your device.
2. Cookies we use on prosader.com
The prosader.com marketing website does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar third-party tracking technology on our marketing pages.
The only cookie set by Prosader is a strictly necessary session cookie used exclusively within the Prosader admin dashboard (accessible at a separate subdomain to authenticated customers). This cookie is not set on the marketing website itself.
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
prosader_session |
Maintains authenticated sessions in the Prosader admin dashboard. Set only upon login; required for the dashboard to function. | Strictly necessary | 2 hours (session) |
This cookie is set with the following security attributes:
- HttpOnly — not accessible via JavaScript, protecting against XSS attacks
- Secure — transmitted over HTTPS only
- SameSite=Lax — provides protection against cross-site request forgery
Because this is a strictly necessary cookie, we are not required to obtain your consent before setting it. Without this cookie, you cannot log in to the Prosader dashboard.
We do not use any persistent tracking cookies, profiling cookies, or advertising cookies anywhere on our services.
3. Third-party services
We use Cloudflare as our CDN and DDoS protection provider. Cloudflare may set its own strictly necessary cookies on your device to deliver content efficiently and to distinguish between legitimate users and bots. These cookies are set by Cloudflare and are not under Prosader's direct control.
Common Cloudflare cookies include:
| Name | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|
__cf_bm |
Bot management — used by Cloudflare to distinguish human visitors from automated traffic | Strictly necessary |
cf_clearance |
Set after a visitor successfully passes a Cloudflare challenge | Strictly necessary |
For more information about how Cloudflare uses cookies, please refer to Cloudflare's Cookie Policy.
We do not use Google Fonts, embedded social media widgets, video players, or any other third-party scripts on the prosader.com marketing website that would set additional cookies.
4. How to control cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- See which cookies have been set and delete them individually
- Block third-party cookies
- Block cookies from specific sites
- Block all cookies from being set
- Delete all cookies when you close your browser
Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in to the Prosader admin dashboard. The marketing website (prosader.com) will continue to function fully without any cookies.
For guidance on managing cookies in your specific browser, visit your browser's help documentation or resources such as allaboutcookies.org.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this cookie policy from time to time to reflect changes in our use of cookies or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
